Watch this step-by-step video on a UV lamp replacement for a DEL AOP Unit. In this video, Dana Nelson, CMP Senior Pool Sales Coordinator shows us how to replace the ultraviolet bulb or lamp in an AOP 50 unit, but the process is very similar in other models.
Access the lamp from the top of the unit by removing the panel cover. Carefully disconnect the bulb and pull it out of the chamber taking care not to touch the bulb – always handle using the ceramic ends. The oils on your hands can ruin the bulb!
Remove the lamp for regular cleaning and replace every 18 months.
