Replace Ozone Cells
Before You Begin
- Turn off pumps and all power to the system
- Open cabinet by loosening two locking screws on the front of the cabinet
- Phillips head screwdriver required to access and replace the ozone cell
Rotate Cell Manifold for Access
- The ozone cell mounting bracket is secured at three corners
- Remove the mounting screws in the back bottom screw and front top screw
- Rotate the bracket forward to access the ozone cells
Detach Ozone Cell
- Locate the cell needing replacement
- Disconnect the connection to the harness
- Remove the ozone cell mounting screw
- While holding the ozone cell, pull the ozone manifold away from the hose barb of the cell
- Remove the air filter from the front of the cell
- Remove the ozone cell
Replace Ozone Cell
- Put the new ozone cell in place on the mounting bracket
- Attach the hose barb of the new cell to the manifold
- Attach the ozone cell air filter
- Use the mounting screw to secure the cell to the bracket
- Connect the cell to the harness
Put Ozone Bracket Back in Place
Rotate the ozone cell bracket back into an upright position. Replace the two screws you removed previously to lock back in place. To confirm cell operation, restore power to the system and check that all ozone cells indicator lights are on.
