Mounting the AOP S

Choosing the Location

Verify mounting location is out of reach of sprinklers or drainage spouts and that the unit will be inaccessible to anyone in the pool.

The DEL AOP S should be installed at least one foot above the maximum water level to prevent water from touching electrical equipment.

Choose a location on a wall near pool equipment in a clean, protected area, either indoors, in a forced air ventilated room, or outdoors and out of direct sunlight.

Make sure location is at least 5 feet from inside wall of pool using nonmetallic plumbing.

The unit should be installed so that the inlet is before the filter and the outlet is after the heater, if present.

Ensure Proper Clearance

Mark the mounting location.

Allow for sufficient clearance in front for internal access and above for service of the UV Lamp and Quartz Tube.

Standard clearance is 13 inches.

Mounting the Control

Open the enclosure by removing the two front screws and loosening the two top screws. The two mounting holes are located in the back of the enclosure.

Mount on wall or post using screws–or other hardware appropriate for mounting surface–through the two mounting holes built into the enclosure.
