Check Valve Maintenance

Disconnect & Relieve Pressure

Wearing proper protective gear, disconnect the DEL AOP S from the power source.

Turn off pool pump.

Relieve any water pressure.

Trace amounts of nitric acid may be present in the check valve assembly and could be mildly corrosive.

Allow any moisture to be drawn out or dried up prior to servicing.

Check flow & Remove Flow Meter

Check the Flow Meter Assembly for proper flow.

Remove the Flow Meter Assembly after confirming flow.

Check for wear & failure

Inspect check valve assembly tubing for cracks or wear.

If no water is present between the check valve and the DEL AOP S, there has been a failure.

Replace the check valve assembly immediately.
