Leaking Cell
Cell Cap is Leaking
If the cell cap is leaking either from the bottom of the cell cap or through the cord hole, check the o-ring.
- It is possible the o-ring is improperly seated in the groove. Remove the o-ring. The o-ring should not be lubricated. Clean the o-ring slot of any dirt or debris and replace the o-ring. Make sure to fully seat the o-ring into the slot before inserting the cell back into the housing.
- If the o-ring is missing, worn out or damaged, replace the o-ring.
- The cell cap may have been cross threaded. Unscrew the cap and confirm that the cap screws onto the housing without resistance.
Cell Body is Leaking
If the cell body is leaking, cracked or damaged, you must replace it.
