Typhoon is a “click-lock” style jet system, used for years in millions of spa installations. CMP continues to improve on this jet system with improved polypropylene diffusers for increased strength and chemical resistance.
It can be difficult to identify a jet body type in an installed spa for jet replacement. Luckily, Typhoon bodies are easy to recognize versus Pro-Loc Jets
Inside the jet body, look for a black or gray snap-clip ring. A Pro-Loc locking ring will be white.
200 Series bodies will not have a visible ring in the body. For these, check the jet for a Pro-Loc o-ring.
